InfoComm 2024 Breaks Attendance Records, Features 800+ Exhibitors
InfoComm 2024, held from June 8-14 in Las Vegas, Nevada, provided an extensive platform for pro AV professionals worldwide. The event featured An Evening at Sphere, an extensive education program, and over 800 exhibitors.
“There are so many layers to InfoComm, which allows each participant to select a unique path. Professional development, technology demonstrations, networking, and experiential AV at sites around Las Vegas – it was all here in one place for a week,” stated David Labuskes, CEO of AVIXA. “InfoComm is a high-energy, busy week for thousands of people that sparks innovations, creates connections, and makes lasting memories.”
Record Attendance and Global Participation
The event attracted 36,967 registrants, with 30,271 verified attendees from 125 countries, setting post-COVID records. International attendees made up 23% of the total. Among non-exhibitor attendees, 71% were from the pro AV channel, and 29% were end users.
Exhibitor Showcase and Highlights
InfoComm 2024 featured 833 exhibitors displaying pro AV products and solutions across 407,000 net square feet in the West and Central Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Opening Night: An Evening at Sphere
On Tuesday, June 11, before the trade show floor opened, over 2,600 pro AV professionals gathered for An Evening at Sphere, showcasing AV at its finest.
Keynotes and Special Sessions
Joe Pham, Chairman and CEO of QSC | Q-SYS, delivered a keynote titled “Everything Has Changed: AV’s Infinite Potential in an Exponential Age” to over 600 attendees, discussing the impact of AI on the pro AV industry.
Danielle Feinberg, Visual Effects Supervisor at Pixar Animation Studios, delivered the keynote at the 10th annual AVIXA Women’s Breakfast, sharing insights from her career and experiences, including her role in Pixar’s first all-female leadership team for the film “Turning Red.”
Congreso AVIXA and Latin American Reception
The second in-person Congreso AVIXA, presented in Spanish, explored business topics such as creative thinking, adaptability to change, and strategies for business efficiency. The Latin American Reception welcomed over 300 attendees.
Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Achievements
Many attendees took the Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) exam at InfoComm 2024. A total of 171 professionals earned their CTS credentials: 104 achieved CTS, 28 attained CTS-D (Design), and 31 earned CTS-I (Installation), pushing the total number of CTS holders beyond the 14,000 mark.
Introduction of AVA AI
AVIXA introduced AVA AI, powered by Open AI, to assist attendees with navigating the show floor, education sessions, events, and transportation. AVA AI was developed by the AVIXA IT department using OpenAI’s large language model and integrated into the show’s official app.

Looking Ahead to InfoComm 2025
InfoComm 2025 is scheduled for June 7-13 (exhibits June 11-14) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
