mc²56 3rd Generation Production Console
Lawo introduced the mc²56 3rd Generation Production Console, powered by the A__UHD Core (Phase 2) audio engine. This console supports up to 1,024 DSP channels and is designed for flexibility with its software-defined architecture. It supports various IP standards, including SMPTE 2110, AES67/RAVENNA, DANTE, and MADI, ensuring seamless integration into modern broadcast workflows. The compact console also features extensive local I/O capabilities and incorporates advanced functionalities from Lawo’s flagship mc²96 console.
Ruby Radio Console
Another highlight at the exhibition was the Ruby Radio Console, offering a customizable visual interface with a context-sensitive touchscreen GUI. It supports SMPTE 2022-7 seamless protection switching, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted network operations. The console also integrates with VisTool, allowing broadcasters to create custom control GUIs and interactive displays tailored to their specific needs.
Power Core Audio Mixing Engine
Lawo’s Power Core Audio Mixing Engine, designed for high-density audio mixing in IP environments, attracted considerable attention. This 1RU unit features extensive processing capabilities and flexible licensing, enabling shared DSP channels across multiple consoles. It offers comprehensive connectivity options, making it a versatile solution for various broadcast applications.
HOME Management Platform
Lawo introduced its HOME management platform, built on a cloud-ready microservices architecture. Utilizing open standards like ST2110, NMOS, IEEE802.1x, and RADIUS, HOME allows users to connect, manage, and secure their networked production setups efficiently. The platform supports third-party integration through a single control API, fostering interoperability and expanding the ecosystem of compatible devices.
